ONEIGHTY is a fast paced, high-octane action sports television series that combines lifestyles, action, and interviews with a behind-the-scenes look at the top professional and amateur athletes from around the world. ONEIGHTY also features expert coverage of professional instruction, gear and product profiles, event coverage and the latest boarding news.

A modern edge look with positive content, ONEIGHTY is geared toward a target audience of ages 15-35, focusing on the overall youth movement and the world of action sports from a positive perspective. With a message of hard work and dedication to their craft ONEIGHTY features interviews with internationally recognized athletes such as: 2004 Wakeskate Champion Danny Hampson, 4 time World Champion Shaun Murray and 2005 King of Wake Wakeboard World Cup Champion Rusty Malinoski.

ONEIGHTY features an instructional segment sponsored by Muskoka Woods, Canada’s largest action sports resort and one of the most qualified wakeboard schools on the planet. Hosted by Muskoka Woods team rider Mike Donald, the instructional segment offers trick tips and expert advice to riders of all ages and skill levels. ONEIGHTY also provides a behind-the-scenes look into the latest in boardsport technology and manufacturing with product profiles and sneak peaks at the next ‘must have’ gear from Surf Expo in Orlando, Florida.

Produced in high definition, taking advantage of the increasing number of HDTV’s and demand for HD content, ONEIGHTY is shot against the colourful backdrop of Ontario’s Muskoka region, throughout Ontario and of course in Orlando, Florida! It includes coverage of competitions such as Wakestock, the Pro Wakeboard Tour, and the World Wakeboard Competition as well as regional events like the X-Cup Triple Crown.

Avid wakeboarder and professional videographer Geoff Laforet of Muskoka Lakes Media, Muskoka’s premiere, world class, television Production Company and Mindy Tweedle Laforet, owner and producer of Tweedle Productions Inc., head the production team.

The 13 unique episodes began airing Oct. 7th across Canada to a potential 10 million viewers numerous times each week on CTS and has received extremely positive feedback!
